On 26 November 2008, Shoreditch Trust won an Award for Bridging Cultures (ABCs) for its annual Shoreditch Festival - in recognition of the creative projects it produces to share culture and connect communities through the arts. Funded by the Baring Foundation and delivered by the Institute of Community Cohesion (iCoCo), the ABCs reward grass roots, community and voluntary organisations for local schemes and projects which promote intercultural dialogue and understanding.
